The stumbled post from last week was:
Easy Dryer Sheet Alternatives from Mindful Momma
I can't wait to see what you've got to share this week. Don't forget to link back to one of the hosts so everyone can find these great resources!
I’m excited to be a part of this again this week. I have posted about a budget friendly way to add top notch nourishment to any family’s diet. http://naturalandnourishedfamily.com/2011/10/dontthrowthataway/
Thanks for sharing Carmen. I’m so glad you are participating!
What a surprise to see that you stumbled my post from last week. Thanks so much! Check out my homemade chocolate facial mask that I posted this week – it’s delicious and good for your skin too!
Looking forward to trying the homemade dishwasher detergent.
I first read Emily’s recipe: http://www.liverenewed.com/2009/09/homemade-dishwasher-detergent.html and wrote down all four ingredients on my shopping list. Told my husband that I was going to make a homemade brew as he’s been unhappy with our current eco detergent (no, I’m not going to get up and walk over to the cupboard under the kitchen sink to look at it – sorry. oh heck… ) called biokleen Phosphate and Chlorine Free Automatic Dish Powder. His reply, “Please just get some regular stuff, too!” So, I picked up some Seventh Generation Automatic Dishwasher Detergent.
Then I read Minimalist Mommi’s entry: http://minimalistmommi.blogspot.com/2011/07/sudsy-competition.html
Imagine my surprise when I read “I brought that stuff [7th Gen. dish powder] home and tried it immediately. Ew. It was probably one of the worst detergents I had ever used. The dishes looked worse than when I originally put them in. You would have thought I had frosted glasses. Yeah, that bad.”
Well, I’m glad I haven’t opened it. I think I’ll make my own brew complete with the white vinegar rinse agent and see how it goes. I still have my receipt and have no problem returning products. Homemade eco-green here I come! I’ll post my results here as well as at the other two websites that have basically the same recipes. Thanks again for your website and that all you green bloggers share and share alike!
Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your webpage?
My blog is in the very same area of interest as yours and my users would genuinely
benefit from some of the information you present here.
Please let me know if this okay with you. Thanks a lot!
Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re
working with? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different
then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
