Handmade Mother’s Day Link-Up
It's time for the Handmade Mother's Day link-up and I couldn't be more excited!
Any handmade gift post or tutorial (that is suitable for Mother's Day) is welcome.
Some possibilities include:
- Baked goods
- Handcrafted body care (obviously my favorite!)
- Scrapbooks
- Photo gifts
- Crafts
- Sewing
- Artwork
- Crochet
- and so on . . .
Please link directly to your post, not your homepage.
Also, please include a link to this post so others can find handmade gift ideas (or join in the fun). You don't need to include the button, unless you want to, but please do add a link to this page.
If you would like to add a button there are three sizes to choose from here.
All posts must be G-rated. Family Friendly!
So let's get to it!
Happy Handmade Mother's Day!
I'll leave the link open all week, so if you need a little time to get your post together, you have it.
I’m afraid I don’t have anything to share at this time. Sounds like fun, though! It was good to hear from you. Actually, I thought of you this morning when I was writing my post. And then there was your comment! I love all the homemade body products you have shared. My daughter is interested in making soap, I’ll have to come back here when I have more time to read further. Everything looks lovely!
Have a good week – Kate
Hi Kate! Thanks for stopping by. It’s always nice to hear from you.
The Citrus Peel soap (#9 on the post below) looks like a good recipe to start with. It uses soap that is already made…but would be good practice for mixing and shaping before getting into making real soap with lye.
I love your bath bag post and will be definitely be making them! 🙂
Thanks Michelle. They are super easy. Hope you like them.
I love handmade body products! I just looked around your site a little and I saw the lavender salve recipe that you had posted. I have some lavender in my garden this year. Hopefully it’ll grow (its looking dubious at this point) and then I can make some.
Kate, that lavender salve is one of my favorite things to make!
I plan on making the coconut oil hand cream for my Mom for Mother’s Day and for a friend who will have her 5th child late this summer. I, also, am going to my make for her and myself the sugar body scrub or the foot scrub. There were so many of your ideas and then a few in the top ten you just posted that I would love to make. I definitely see myself, and my children, making some of these ideas for Xmas gifts. I can see how it can be addicting to make all of these, I may end up that way.
Yes, totally addicting! I hope you like the things you make 🙂
