DIY Strawberry Chia Face Scrub |

This strawberry-chia face scrub may not be anything to look at, but it certainly does an excellent job of removing dead skin cells and brightening the skin.

Make this face scrub in a couple of minutes and use immediately.

Thaw out a frozen strawberry for this recipe, if fresh ones are not available. Use organic strawberries, if possible.

Strawberry-Chia Face Scrub

This recipe comes from my eBook, DIY Face Masks and Scrubs.

Suitable for all skin types.

1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
1 small strawberry
1/2 teaspoon arrowroot or cornstarch

Wash, hull and mash strawberry. Add chia seeds and stir to combine.

Let sit for a few minutes while the chia seeds absorb some of the moisture.

Add arrowroot powder or cornstarch and stir to combine. Leave for another minute to thicken.

Apply to skin in gentle, circular motions, avoiding the eyes. Wash off with warm water and a wash cloth.
