Natural Body Care Ingredients at Mountain Rose Herbs

I've been purchasing from Mountain Rose Herbs for at least six years now. They are an excellent resource for all ingredients need in preparing home remedies and natural skin care products.

Butters

Cocoa butter

For ease of measuring, I purchase the wafers (cocoa butter is very hard and difficult to get out of the jar when solid, but it is not impossible, just expect to use a little muscle.)

 Shea butter

Salts

Cosmetic Salt

Coarse sea salt

Epsom salt

Oils

Mountain Rose Herbs carries a wide variety of oils.

Specific oils mentioned in the ebook:

Sunflower oil

Coconut oil

Sweet Almond Oil

Grapeseed Oil

Olive Oil

Avocado Oil

Essential Oils

Mountain Rose Herbs carries an extensive line of essential oils at excellent prices.

The following essential oils are used in the recipes included in Simple Scrubs:

Lemongrass essential oil

Rosemary Essential oil

Lemon essential oil

Sweet orange essential oil

Frankincense essential oil

Lavender essential oil

Herbs

Mountain Rose carries almost every herb imaginable!

Herbs used in Simple Scrubs:

Dried lavender (or lavender powder)

Peppermint, dried

Roses, dried

Clays

Clays – Mountain Rose Herbs carries white cosmetic clay (which is a great addition to facial scrubs). Other clays are also available (such as Rhassoul and Bentonite clay)

Misc.

Packaging – Glass and plastic jars are both available (I like the salve jars)

Castile soap

Glycerin
