Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
I make these cookies so often it is laughable. The entire family enjoys them. Even my husband, who doesn't really care for cookies. In fact, I think he asks for them more than anyone.
These oatmeal cookies are not overly sweet and full of real food ingredients. The batter itself is pretty good, too.
I hope you enjoy them, too!
The go so fast, I usually double this recipe.
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
Makes 1 dozen 3-inch cookies
1 ½ cups rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
¼ teaspoon sea salt
½ cup maple syrup
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine oats, flour and salt together in a large bowl; set aside.
In a separate bowl mix together maple syrup, butter, and vanilla.
Add wet ingredients to dry and stir to combine thoroughly. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Form dough into 3-inch cookies and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until edges turn golden.
Stop tempting me in the middle of my Whole30! 🙂 These sound delicious!
These look amazing!
These look yummy and easy to make. I will definitely be trying these out. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this good recipe! I just made them and let me tell you, I am so impressed! I haven’t had a homemade cookie in months because of an egg allergy. Who needs eggs with this recipe!
So glad you enjoyed them!
