11 Herbs and Spices for the Holidays
It's no secret that I love herbs. They have so many uses!
The holidays are a wonderful time to enjoy herbs and spices. There are so many opportunities to use them in baking and cooking as well as medicinally.
On Friday I shared how to use 11 different herbs and spices this holiday season at Keeper of the Home.
I probably went a little overboard with this post! Click over and see for yourself.
I love your shot of the cinnamon sticks! (And I’m so glad it’s cinnamon-stick season!)
Your comment alerted me to the fact that I forgot to add the image credit!!! The cinnamon sticks are by this awesome photographer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pinkstockphotos/
I’m glad it’s cinnamon sticks season, too!
This is a great list – most of these are must-haves in my pantry or garden:) I’m not really a fan of minted peas either, but I do love adding mint to salads every now and then (the tabbouleh recipe I use calls for 1/4 cup of finely chopped mint) as it’s so refreshing. And most days I have a piece of toast with ricotta and slices of fresh fruit with honey and cinnamon sprinkled on top – very yummy:)
Thanks for sharing,
