Soothing Lavender-Chamomile Bath Salt
This lavender-chamomile bath salt is intended for soothing tired muscles. It's perfect to use after a long day of work.
Be sure to soak for at least 15-20 minutes to get the full benefit.
This makes a large amount of bath salt, but since it is intended for achey, fatigued bodies, the entire amount should be used.
Soothing Lavender-Chamomile Bath Salt
Makes enough for one treatment
Ingredients
11 ounces Epsom salts (1 1/3 cup)
4 ounces Sea Salt
1 tablespoon coconut oil
10 drops lavender essential oil
3 drops chamomile essential oil
Method
In a large bowl mix the Epsom salts and sea salt. Stir to combine.
In a small bowl mix 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 10 drops lavender essential oil, and 3 drops chamomile essential oil.
Add coconut oil/essential oil blend to the salts and stir to combine.
Store in a large plastic jar or cloth sack.
I prefer to use glass BUT in this circumstance I don't because glass and bath salt don't always go well together; here have been reports of jars exploding!
To use
Pour entire contents into a warm bath as it fills. Soak for 15-20 minutes.
