Diffuse

To get the stress-reducing benefits from bergamot essential oil, add a few drops to a diffuser (see your diffuser's directions for amounts, usually between 2-5 drops).

If you don't have a diffuser, open the bottle of eo and gently sniff it. Or, apply two or three drops to a tissue and hold close to your nose and inhale.

Use in a Massage Oil

Bergamot essential oil can be used as part of a massage oil to help reduce stress and promote relaxation. However, it is important to note that bergamot can make skin photosensitive. So, it's important not to use this when you plan to go out in the sun.

To make a relaxing massage oil:

Blend 4 ounces of carrier oil (like avocado, olive, or sweet almond oil) with 5 drops of bergamot essential oil and 5 drops of lavender essential oil. Use to massage the hands, feet, or body.
