31 Days of Natural Beauty
Did you know the United States has not passed a federal law to regulate the ingredients used in personal care products since 1938?
That's far too long.
Many ingredients used in this country that are banned elsewhere. And for good reason.
Some are cancer-causing. Others, endocrine disruptors.
The Food and Drug Administration allows companies to these chemicals (lead, formaldehyde, and phthalates) in the products we put on our bodies (and on our kids) every single day, even though they are known to be extremely harmful.
This is just not good enough!
The skin is the largest organ in the body. What we put on that organ is absorbed into the body and ends up in the bloodstream.
Our health is being greatly affected by what we put on or skin.
It's time to make a change!
We don't have to change everything at once, but in order to live as healthfully as possible, we need to make some changes.
Some beauty products are simple to switch. Others take time to replace.
I want to help!
